Are your classes suitable for me?

My classes are suitable for anyone aged 18 or over who wants to find a bit of extra head space, enjoy a good stretch, energise their body – or a bit of all three. I’m afraid I don’t accept pregnant women in my classes at this time, as I feel it requires a teacher with specific pregnancy training to safely teach yoga to a woman at this special time in her life.

I’m trained in Vinyasa Flow yoga, but I like to keep it at a steady pace, incorporating elements you’d expect to find in a Hatha yoga class, rather then making it ultra-dynamic. I pay attention to how everyone is feeling, and adjust the sequence where necessary. Options, modifications and sometimes props allow me to accommodate all levels.

We’ll focus on achieving good alignment in specific poses, encouraging safe and healthy movement and stretching. You may notice some elements from Iyengar yoga classes you’ve been to before too.
